Frivolous post
This one is going to be a vain, frivolous post just because I have nothing else to blog about. I went to the hairdresser a couple of days ago for a haircut and the hairdresser suggested I straighten my hair and on impulse I agreed. You see, I have thick natural wavy hair and every time I go to a hairdresser, they would say things like "Wow your hair is so voluminous". I have tried straightening before and I don't like that unnatural straight flat look. I prefer my hair to be more natural with some body. Thus the regret.
The before - after pictures below:
Before and after.
Frankly speaking , the hairstyles look quite similar and I spent $120 to achieve the same look. Bummer!
To end this post, i would like to share one of my favourite quotes:
"Life is not about waiting for the storms to pass...
it's about learning how to dance in the rain."

120 bucks ..fwah ...pockets hurting
That's one of my favorite quotes too. Too bad the hair style is the same now as it was before. But do you like it? If you do, then it was mony well spent.
I need to learn to dance in the rain before I drown, :)
My hair has natural waves in it that drive me nuts. Meanwhile, all my wife's friends with straight hair comment how they wished they could have the same waves. I guess the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.
Ugh, I hate when that happens. My hair is wavy as well. It's hard to do much with it when it's humid like it is here now.
Good quote. Wow on the cost of the hairdresser visit! I pay 35.00 & that includes the tip. Of course, you had a treatment done too. I have to work really hard to get my hair NOT to lay flat on my head. That is it's natural state. And I mean it is pastered to my head. I like some 'oomph' to it so I have to spray the roots and dry it up to give it lift. LOL We usually don't have the hair we want do we? Love the quote! *hugs*
